What BIG Transfer keeps, and why

BIG Transfer is run by Big Ideas NOW. This page covers the file sending service. Our main website has its own Privacy Policy, which also applies.

What we keep

• Your files, until the transfer expires (7, 14 or 21 days) or you delete it. Then they’re gone from our server.
• Email addresses you type in (yours and the people you send to), the title and message, so we can send the emails and show the download page.
• Your account, if you make one: your email address and your password, stored only in a scrambled form that can’t be turned back into the password.
• Download counts, so you can see in My transfers whether your files were downloaded.
• Your internet address, for about an hour, to stop people starting too many transfers or guessing passwords.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser’s own storage to remember small choices like agreeing to the terms. No advertising cookies and no tracking across other websites.

Who sees it

Only the people you share a link with can download your files. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use your files or addresses for advertising. Everything is kept on our own server, and the emails are sent from our own mail server.

Your choices

You can delete your transfers at any time in My transfers. To close your account or ask what we hold about you, email Sales@BigIdeasNow.com or call (702) 768-1810.
